This is a good card to show up when you have something in question that you stand for firmly. It is more about the man making his stand against all odds to hold the ground that he is on. This card is one for those who have a belief but are not quite sure about some aspects of it. If this cards and it is in a positive position for the matter, it is time for a stand.
For this card, Aggression is used in a less than traditional fashion. It is used with some of the other aspects of the card to overcome internal barriers. The aggression relates to making your stand and fighting against all odds. It is important that you know where you stand very well so you don't go working against yourself later on! It is also important to temper your aggression. Is the battle worth fighting?
With defiance, an extension of aggression, you are going against the flow for a reason. You are making a stand for your beliefs and thoughts differently than usual. It is time to hold firm and be ready to defend.
Conviction, another word for ideas, but one that you strongly believe in. You must ask yourself where you are, where this belief stands, and how adamant you are about it. The position of the card should give some hint to it though. Stand firm for your beliefs, with courage and weather the storm need be, to emerge victorious on the other side.
