Just like Polaris, the Star stands for a guiding light. After everything, it is the one constant beacon that can draw anyone home safely. It is the calm after any storm or finding something in your life that will bring you back to your current journey. It is a symbol of generosity and giving, as love flows from the Star to the person to be shared with the rest of the world.
The Fool's Journey
After the Fool watched his Tower crumble to dust with the coming of night, he sees a single Star standout on the horizon in front of him. He feels at once the full revelation that the destruction he just witnessed stood for. For all his loss he finds that he still has himself and all his love. Within himself he finds only love and peace inside. After everything that has happened, he knows that the end is indeed drawing near and it will be coming with the Dawn of the day.
