• The Major Arcana - The Hierophant

      Meanings
Education, Convictions, Conforming, Identifying with a Group

The Heirophant represents more than what its semi-religious imagery suggest. While it is indeed key to one's beliefs and convictions, it is more about fitting into society. It is showing one's formal education, and where they find their place in society. This card represents orthodox and shared beliefs.

      The Fool's Journey
Days after the Fool had left the Emperor he found his way into a city. While he had learned the ways of the world itself he knew nothing of society. Not too far into the town he came across a Heirophant blessing a group of people for good fortune. The Fool approached the man and they began to talk. The man shared his wisdom about beliefs and taught the Fool in the ways of Man. The Fool found his learning from the Emperor made even more sense as this man told him more about the lives and teachings of many people. Days passed as the two talked. When the Fool found himself again wandering his path, he knew he would someday find his own place in life.
