Meanings:
Pride, Triumph, Victory
This is card a card claiming victory over any number of things. It is the end result of the Five of wands but it can refer to a number of things. It can be just that, a victory that you have claimed, but it could be a warning of pride or just a sign of firm self-confidence.
This card can show a coming victory. In a sense it is the harbinger of victory more than victory itself. You will begin to receive the honor and acknowledgment due for your efforts.
Triumph itself refers to something different as well. It can be a cautionary warning in the same light. You are succeeding in your goals but there is more to be done yet. Also, it is important to remember that for you to succeed, some one else must have failed.
In regards to confidence and pride, it is something of a tricky tale. You are more than entitled to feel something for your achievement. It trick is not to let it go completely to your head. It is important for you to remain grounded for your progress. Pride is good to a point but it is important to keep it in check lest it lead to your fall.
