the Seven of Swords shows a person making away with five swords that obviously once rested with the remaining two in the ground. It is a card that shows, possibly, the retaliation from the Five of Swords.
This card tells of a guile and deception. That is you can lose because of this or the use of this will bring something to you at a price known only to you. It could be part of a grander scheme that you have, but it is still some trickery being used.
This card can also tell of indecision, though it is a less common meaning. There is something that you do not want to face or are trying to avoid. It could be something you do not want to commit to.
One final meaning, is that the card is calling for a solo-approach. This is a very rare meaning and rarely the best answer to the situation at hand. This is a time when you must resolve matters on your own as you best know how. It could be through any means necessary or it could be done by the book but however it is done, it is your methods that will bring about resolution.
