The Minor Arcana - Six of Swords

Meaning:
Recovery, Travel, Revision

This is card shops a trip moving away from the conflict, not retreating, but plotting a different route through the events. It is a time for you catch your breath and tend any wounds. Finally, it is traveling to something/somewhere new.

This card shows a respite that has been earned. The victory has come and you need to find yourself again and rebuild something. You might not be too ecstatic about the destination but you are moving toward it and making progress toward the next goal. It is not heading to anywhere great but it is not heading to anywhere terrible either.

The Six of swords also shows the measure of reason and logic overcoming the flow of emotions. It is much like the waters beneath the boat. While emotions will guide you places it will be your critical choices that will get you to where you are aiming to go.
