When you see this card about a situation, it is important to ask yourself what your true feelings are. What is really going on inside you? Is there something you are holding back? Is something being withheld from you by yourself?

When it comes to barriers, it can be a closed heart or a closed mind. It is a time something has been sealed away inside for protective reasons. It is looking away from the truth, letting nothing in or out.

At its core, the two of swords is a situation when the truth will resolve the matter. It will not be a pleasant truth nor will it be easy for you to deal with, but it is time to acknowledge it and accept it.
